Constructive Interference Talk
Constructive Interference is an exhibition of work from every architecture school in Ireland, offering an alternative to the unsustainable global cycle of construction and demolition, the diminishing role of communities in architecture, and the impact of economic systems on our social and cultural spaces, and ecosystems.
Ciarán delivered a presentation as part of the Constructive Interference exhibition organised by Rubble and Building Change at the RIAI Conference 2024.
Ciarán’s presentation covered the work of Islander and the link between this ambition and the project for Demolition Take Down. He discussed several topics including; Community Regeneration, Community Engagement, Materials & Labour as well as some suggestions as to what we can do as students, as an industry or simply as citizens.
